Hours: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday). 3 months training on 1st Shift.
Compensation: $19.75/hour plus a $1.50 shift premium on 2nd Shift.
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate single and/or multiple cold heading machines to produce quality products
- Plan and perform close tolerance setups with little or no assistance
- Use scales, micrometers, dial indicators, and fixed gages to check and gage work
- Load and unload product in the process using a forklift
- Read and follow process standards, control plans, and work instructions
- Start machine, observe operation, inspect first run and sample work piece to ensure part conforms to specifications
- Remove and install specified tooling at changeovers and make all necessary adjustments
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
- Forklift experience
- Willingness to learn
