Nursing Tech - ICU
Northwest Hospital’s 16-bed Intensive Care Unit delivers high-quality, compassionate, standardized, evidence-based critical care. ICU staff proactively remove obstacles to patient care, assess status, implement clinical interventions, and develop care plans to improve outcomes. The team is outgoing, positive, and relies on strong organizational and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist the RN and healthcare team in providing a variety of patient-care duties.
- Maintain standards of nursing care for all patients.
- Implement unit, hospital, and nursing-department policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Synquest, medical terminology, Hoyer lift, communication devices, specialty beds, and automatic blood-pressure cuff.
- Active GNA or CNA licensure.
- Current AHA CPR card.
Pay
$20.00 to $27.29 per hour, based on experience.
