About the role

Provides tactical support to meet the goals and objectives of the organization and service for the assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, evaluates, disciplines, coaches and monitors staff.
• Contributes to the efficient and effective operations of the service.
• Maintains clinical competency and uses the nursing process.
• Ensures appropriate care, equipment and services for the population served.
• Maintains regulatory readiness of the staff and service through chart reviews, monitoring and other performance improvement activities.
• Adheres to high customer service standards and holds staff accountable.
• Provides prompt service recovery when necessary.
• Understands and adheres to relevant laws and standards.
• Carries out Palomar Health’s mission, vision, and quality commitment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years related clinical experience or 2 years with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Prior financial management experience.
• Current CA RN License.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Skills

• Knowledge of standard office equipment and personal computers.
• Proficient use of keyboarding, mouse, and other computer software skills.
