Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- One or more years of Acute Care Hospital RN Supervisor experience required
Responsibilities
Performs rounds on each nursing unit. Observes and assesses the quality of patient care being delivered. Identifies nursing educational needs. Escalates concerns about nursing skills, patient care, policies, processes, and equipment as appropriate. Ensures that nurses within scope of support have a clear understanding of how to integrate patient experience into nursing practice. Responds to emergencies on units.
