About the role
Harbor House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Every Other Weekend Nursing Supervisor on Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges
- Supervise nurses and CNAs
- Manage staffing changes
- Support family inquiries and screen visitors
- Care for patient/resident referrals with central admissions
- Ensure high quality resident/patient care
- Provide support to ancillary staff as needed
Requirements
- Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting
- Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care
- Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
- Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
