About the role

The Clinical Supervisor collaborates with the Director to ensure the safe operation of the department, overseeing patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibilities, and strategic goals. They implement, supervise, and evaluate safe patient care, foster a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors, and maintain clinical competency. The role promotes Service Excellence, responds flexibly to emergencies and staffing changes, and delegates tasks effectively. They support staff development through ongoing education and participate in quality monitoring initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibilities, and strategic goals in collaboration with the Director.
• Implement, supervise, and evaluate safe patient care practices.
• Foster a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Maintain clinical competency and promote Service Excellence.
• Respond flexibly to emergencies and staffing changes.
• Delegate tasks effectively and support staff development through ongoing education.
• Participate in quality monitoring initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid Multi-State RN License.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
• CPI certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of acute care or similar experience with demonstrated leadership ability.
