Oversee clinical care and emergency responses in a rehabilitation and nursing care setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff during shifts to ensure quality of care
- Monitor productivity and assist in budget planning
- Evaluate new admissions for compliance
- Control medication administration according to policies
- Ensure adequate staffing and resources
- Participate in staff hiring, orientation, coaching, and development
- Communicate resident clinical updates and address concerns
- Perform unit rounds and investigate issues
- Document for investigations and compliance
Requirements
- NYS RN License
- At least 2 years of leadership experience in a long-term care setting
