NURSING SUPERVISOR
About the role
The Nursing Supervisor role at InterCommunity supports the Program Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Withdrawal Management and Intensive units. Key responsibilities include supervising nursing and technician staff, managing admissions and discharge processes, census reporting, DMHAS reporting, unit schedules, and client care.
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative supervision to all nurses & technicians in alignment with supervision hours required by ASAM.
- Aids the Program Manager in completing annual evaluations for all nurses & technicians.
- Offers on-call support to the unit as scheduled.
- Responsible for completing payroll timely and accurately.
- Trains and orientates the assigned team of nurses & technicians, including onboarding and training coordination for new staff.
- Manages the nursing & technician schedule and ensures appropriate coverage.
- Oversees census reporting for InterCommunity and DMHAS.
- Develops and leads in-service trainings with the entire team and leads program improvement initiatives.
- Assists with nursing and technician duties on the unit and in triage.
- Provides nursing support to nurses, including medication administration, admissions, assessments, and care coordination.
- Aids in nursing coverage during staffing shortages.
- Responsible for regular chart auditing to ensure documentation requirements are met.
- Coordinates treatment with other providers to support Whole Person Healthcare.
- Leads in managing crisis situations on the unit.
- Maintains safety and cleanliness of the unit by timely submission of work orders.
- Documents in the clinical record according to requirements of regulatory agencies.
- Responsible for overseeing the closing out of Epic charts.
- May be required to transport clients in Agency vehicle.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN), at least 3 years of experience in a medical or residential setting.
- Leadership experience preferred.
Qualifications
Must be awake during all scheduled hours and attend all mandatory department/agency meetings and trainings.

Pay
Annual Salary Range: $93,600 – $114,400
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm or 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. Additional hours for coverage when needed, Rotating weekends to accept incoming calls.
