Nursing Student Extern

About the Role

As our Nursing Student Extern, you will perform delegated duties and provide supportive care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, consistent with your defined role and our policies.

Responsibilities

• Execute basic patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, measuring blood glucose, and recording intake and output (I&Os).
• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse (RN).
• Support unit stocking, cleanliness, and orderliness.
