About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of educators in developing innovative curricula and teaching methods that enhance student learning outcomes. They will also be expected to engage in research and professional development activities that contribute to the academic excellence of the institution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new educational programs and courses
- Collaborate with faculty to improve teaching methodologies and student engagement
- Conduct research and publish findings in relevant academic journals
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current in educational trends and best practices
- Assist in the recruitment and retention of high-quality faculty members
- Provide mentorship and guidance to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
Requirements
- A PhD in Education or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in higher education administration or teaching
- Strong record of scholarly achievement and publication
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
