Onboarding Education
- Development of and delivery of local Nursing Services Orientation (NSO) content.
- Facilitation and evaluation of NSO knowledge checks.
- Development of and support in individualized education plans for new nursing staff as needed.
- Development of and delivery of virtual Regional Nursing Services Orientation (NSO) content.
- Development of and delivery of CBRF Medication Administration course for Mental Health Technician and supportive living staff.
- Monitoring of outcomes of and ongoing continuous improvement to nursing services trainings based on organizational needs.
On-site Education
- Preceptorship coordination and support for nursing services staff.
- Education support for implementation of new nursing processes.
- Individual education for nursing staff as needed.
- Provide education resources for nursing staff.
Academic Partnership
- Work collaboratively with academic partners as assigned.
- Manage clinical site requests and schedule.
Continuous Education
- Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the nursing field.
- Provide guidance on best clinical practices.
- Coordinate or conduct lectures or workshops on nursing topics.
- Review and update computer-based learnings as indicated.
- Complete departmental projects as requested.
- Participate in committees and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Job Requirements
- Master of Science Degree in nursing, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on psychiatric mental health clinical preferred.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing, with minimum of two (2) years’ experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing or ten (10) years’ experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing in lieu of bachelor’s nursing degree required.
- Two (2) years’ clinical education/teaching or leadership experience in a behavioral health setting strongly preferred.
- Registered Nurse licensed by Wisconsin State Board of Nursing. License must be in good standing with the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification or American Red Cross Professional Rescue is required within thirty (30) days of date-of-hire. Bi-annual recertification is required.
- Formal training in the management of aggressive patients is required within sixty (60) days of date-of-hire. Annual recertification is required.
