Nursing Resources Staffing Specialist (Per Diem)

Responsibilities

• Utilize Kronos time and attendance system to maintain appropriate procedures for implementation of advanced master scheduling for the assigned department.
• Create schedules and fill scheduled vacancies.
• Perform data entry of all Kronos changes and updates.
• Review staffing sheets and enter all changes to ensure UET/Reserve/Floating is appropriately coded.
• Review payroll for excessive overtime.
• Assist with data collection for presentation of department financial indicators and staffing-related data.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets as needed.
• Perform a variety of clerical duties and work well in stressful situations.
• Assist with administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated and documented strong interpersonal skills.
• Good telephone etiquette and appropriate time management skills.
• Ability to perform accurate and precise work.

Qualifications

• Computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, graphics, and spreadsheets.
• Experience in a healthcare environment, preferably with scheduling.
• Previous experience in a secretarial or business support role.
• High school graduate with the ability to read, write, and perform math at the 12th-grade level.
• Computer competency exam required.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices.
