Nursing Ops Support Rep

About the role

The Nursing Operations Support (NOS) Representative acts as a resource on multiple units for Mission Partners, patients, visitors, and family members for general questions, information, and way-finding needs and provides unit support. Provides guidance to individuals related to other OSF facilities/service areas, coordinates and may assist with patient transport needs, provides local area direction, and advises of area accommodations or amenities. Utilizes various software to provide assistance and complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as a resource on multiple units for Mission Partners, patients, visitors, and family members for general questions, information, and way-finding needs
• Provide unit support
• Provide guidance to individuals related to other OSF facilities/service areas
• Coordinate and may assist with patient transport needs
• Provide local area direction
• Advise of area accommodations or amenities
• Utilize various software to provide assistance and complete assigned tasks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months' experience of office, hospital, administrative duties, customer service, and computer knowledge

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
• Demonstrated ability to reason, interpret, and evaluate each situation to provide assistance and resolve issues
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Pay

$18.27 - $20.29/hour (hourly position). Actual pay determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
