Nursing: LPN/RN - Weekend Only - Sign on Bonus Available!

About the role

The nursing LPN/RN is responsible for ensuring the quality and continuity of resident care, supervising the nursing care team, and working every weekend from 10:45pm to 7:15am.

Responsibilities

• Cooperate in providing a safe and pleasant environment and maintaining a high level of morale for residents and nursing personnel
• Initiate disciplinary procedures as needed for staff
• Establish and maintain effective interdepartmental working relationships and promote guest relations
• Arrange for scheduling of appointments and transportation of residents to other departments or outside appointments
• Observe and evaluate symptoms and conditions of residents and assure that families and physicians are updated and physician orders are followed
• Plan, implement, and see to completion the resident’s plan of care

Requirements

• Proficiency in technology and systems management - Office Suite (Microsoft), POC, Electronic Health Records Systems
• Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills - able to communicate effectively with residents, families' interdisciplinary teams, and external partners both in person and over the phone
• Effective and Efficient - skilled in both verbal and written communication across diverse audiences
• Highly organized and detail-oriented - maintaining accuracy and focus in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

Qualifications

• One (1) year Clinical Experience (preferred but not required)
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• LPN / RN Licensures
