Nursing LPN or LVN 7am-7pm

About the role

The Jasper of Sarasota, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking an LPN/LVN to direct day-to-day functions in an assisted living and memory care setting. The community provides quality care and utilizes advanced technologies to enhance resident lives and support staff workflow.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines governing the assisted living facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies, and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents; report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pull and prepare patient charts; perform other general office duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN and maintain current and unencumbered licensure
