Nursing Lab Coordinator (Grant-Funded)

Typical Duties

Serves Students. Serve only and all programs under the Arizona Western College’s Nursing Department. Assist students with skill development and the use of educational software. Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and at least 3 years of recent experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
• Master’s degree in nursing (MSN), preferred but not required
• Current, active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Arizona, or current, active, unencumbered compact/multistate RN license with privilege to practice as a Registered Nurse in Arizona, required before employment.
• Must remain in good standing with the Arizona State Board of Nursing throughout employment.
• Experience performing and reinforcing nursing skills according to current clinical standards, textbook references, skills checklists, and evidence-based guidelines.
• Experience in nursing education, skills lab, simulation, remediation, or competency-based evaluation, preferred but not required.
• Experience with high-fidelity simulation, virtual reality, electronic medical records, or other healthcare learning technologies preferred but not required.

Additional Eligibility Requirements

• AZ Driver’s License or Equivalent

Pay

$50,544- $65,707 per year, depending on experience.
