Nursing Intern - Medical Intermediate Float Pool

About the role

The Nursing Intern is for students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program who have completed a Fundamentals of Nursing course and have a graduation date in 2026/2027. The Nursing Intern performs clinical procedures and provides patient care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Performs direct and indirect patient care activities. Provides support to other health care team members.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical procedures and provides patient care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities.
• Provides support to other health care team members.
• May perform technical tasks per unit competency validation, but is restricted from performing any licensed tasks.

Requirements

• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Nursing Student - Various

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program
• Completed a Fundamentals of Nursing course
• Expected graduation date in 2026/2027
