Nursing Intern, Medical Float Pool

About the role

The Nursing Intern at Saint Luke's East is for students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program who have completed a Fundamentals of Nursing course and have a graduation date in 2026/2027. The role involves performing clinical procedures and providing patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical procedures and provides patient care for assigned patients.
• Supports other health care team members.
• May perform technical tasks per unit competency validation, but is restricted from performing any licensed tasks.

Requirements

• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Nursing Student - Various

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program
• Completed a Fundamentals of Nursing course
• Expected graduation date in 2026/2027
