About the role

Kaplan North America is seeking Master's prepared nurses for a PRN position in Manhattan, NY. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping new nursing graduates succeed on the NCLEX exam.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high energy level and ability to engage students
• Effectively facilitate learning and learner development
• Learn Kaplan’s methodology and strategies quickly
• Facilitate active and ongoing classroom management
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and instructional meetings as required
• Support students through the Kaplan Learning Integrated Coaching (KLIC) program

Requirements

• MSN or BSN with Masters required
• Current, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse
• 5+ years clinical nursing experience required
• Previous teaching/training experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Weekday availability required
