Nursing Instructor - Grand Junction, CO (In-Person)

About the role

Kaplan North America is seeking Master's prepared nurses for a PRN position in Grand Junction, CO. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping new nursing graduates pass the NCLEX exam.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high energy level and engage students for an excellent student experience.
• Facilitate learning and learner development.
• Learn Kaplan's methodology and strategies quickly.
• Facilitate active and ongoing classroom management.
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and instructional meetings as required.
• Support students through the Kaplan Learning Integrated Coaching (KLIC) program.

Requirements

• MSN or BSN with Masters degree required.
• Current, unencumbered RN license required.
• 5+ years clinical nursing experience required.
• Previous teaching/training experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Weekday availability required.
