About the Role

RN House Supervisor for an every-other-weekend track in an acute hospital. This part-time, 12-hour day shift (7a-7p) leadership position is ideal for an experienced RN seeking a schedule that accommodates personal needs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise frontline, department-based, direct or indirect healthcare department/program functions.
  • Formally or informally supervise daily and/or house functions of charge nurses, professional, and frontline staff (multidisciplinary team) within the assigned department.
  • May or may not have direct report relationships.
  • Coordinate staff scheduling, assignments, or patient throughput as needed.
  • Participate in and contribute to the performance management/review process.
  • Ensure daily adherence to regulatory requirements and drive team results within the assigned department.
  • Implement departmental plans and priorities identified by accountable nurse leaders.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
  • Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Leadership experience and/or other experience, licensure, or certifications aligned with the area of responsibility.

Pay

Pay range: $46.00/hr - $60.76/hr, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The range may vary based on location.
