About the role

The Arizona College of Nursing seeks experienced educators to join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates bring a passion for nursing education and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Teach at least 36 credits annually and design an effective learning environment addressing contemporary issues in nursing.
  • Evaluate student learning using various assessment tools and actively participate in curriculum design and program evaluation.
  • Mentor students, serve as an advisor, and develop student success plans.
  • Oversee clinical adjuncts, facilitate clinical practice, and communicate with Course Lead Faculty about student progress.
  • Grade clinical papers and provide timely feedback, maintain records, and complete clinical site evaluations.
  • Connect students to college resources and coach on soft skills.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, in-service offerings, and other nursing events.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in nursing or related field from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience as a professional registered nurse.
  • Current unencumbered state professional registered nurse license or enhanced compact nurse licensure.
  • Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in area of nursing specialty preferred.
  • Maintain professional competence through ongoing education and activities.
