Nursing Director Residential Living
About the role
The Nursing Director leads the Residential Living component of Holy Rosary Hospital, overseeing long-term, skilled nursing, and short-term transitional care. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director collaborates with leadership to ensure optimal patient care, financial goals, and leadership development.
Responsibilities
- Distributes 20% of time to tactical tasks like staffing, equipment, and employee relations.
- Spends 50% of time on operational duties including budget management, supply acquisition, process improvement, and performance evaluations.
- Allocates 30% of time to strategic initiatives such as goal setting, employee accountability, and developing clinical program protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Leadership/supervisory experience with 3 years of management and 2 years of clinical experience.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution preferred, to be obtained within 4 years of hire.
- Experience in oversight and specialty certifications preferred.
- Physical requirements include ongoing need for visual and manual dexterity, frequent communication, and ability to sit, see, and read.

Pay
The hourly range for this position is $59.50 - $91.84, with actual rates dependent upon experience.
