About the role

The Clinical Coordinator will support the clinical program by coordinating schedules, managing compliance requirements, supporting faculty and students, and building strong relationships with clinical partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and distribute accurate and timely clinical schedules for students.
- Review course calendars and event timelines proactively to identify and prevent scheduling conflicts.
- Ensure students are assigned to clinical experiences that align with curriculum requirements.
- Cook up new instructor onboarding to ensure understanding of assigned clinical sites, units, and site-specific requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive records of clinical placements, site requirements, and student assignments.
- Facilitate new instructor onboarding to ensure understanding of assigned clinical sites, units, and site-specific requirements.
- Monitor schedules for gaps or potential risks early and escalate issues promptly.
- Support audit readiness by keeping all required documents current, complete, and well-organized.
- Monitor day-to-day operational needs to support smooth delivery of clinical experiences.
- Prepare reports that evaluate clinical program effectiveness and highlight scheduling trends.
- Participate in clinical coordination forums, summits, and internal meetings to support collaboration and alignment.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
- Maintain positive, professional relationships with existing clinical partners.
- Communicate schedules, requirements, and key updates to partner sites in a timely manner.
- Escalate partner feedback or concerns to the Dean as appropriate and support Clinical leadership in coordinating timely, effective responses.
- Coordinate with the Clinical Development team to strengthen partner engagement and support strategic forecasting of student clinical placement needs.
- Represent the College at select events to support partner relations and program visibility.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet established metrics, deadlines, and campus goals.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in scheduling, coordination, logistics, or other detail-intensive operations roles.
- Experience in healthcare or clinical environments.
- Experience in post-secondary or higher education settings.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms or scheduling systems.
