About the role
Aids registered nurses in providing patient care by performing tasks assigned by them. Also performs additional functions as prepared.
Responsibilities
- Incorporates Hospital's Customer Service Program into patient care activities
- Accountable to Nurse Manager or designee for all activities
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program
- Current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation
- Basic Life Support Certification
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role
- Prioritize and organize tasks to meet patient care needs
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
