Nursing Assistant Trainee

Earn while you learn through Benedictine's sponsored CNA-NAR training classes. You'll gain the skills needed for a long-lasting career as a Certified Nursing Assistant without cost.

Responsibilities

• Collect initial and ongoing data on all residents
• Report resident conditions and changes to RN or LPN
• Communicate and interact with residents, families, and other health team members

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in and attending a CNA-NAR training program or hired into a Benedictine NA training program
• Eligible to be on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity pending successful completion of training
• Read, write, and communicate in English
• BLS Certification

Qualifications

• Must have a strong desire to work with seniors and a compassionate heart
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

$18.13 - $26.93 per hour
