Nursing Assistant (STNA/CNA) - Full-time Days

About the role

At Special Care Hospital - Columbus - Vic Village, Nursing Assistants (NA) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care to patients during critical moments of their lives.

Responsibilities

• Bathing using basin-less bath products
• Oral hygiene
• Oral feeding and care of hair
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers
• Assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Preferred: Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)

Pay

$18.05 - $22.00 per hour (depending on years of experience)

Schedule

Full-time / 12-hour Shifts / Day Shifts (7am - 7pm)

Sign-On Bonus

$3,000 for full-time employment
