Nursing Assistant - Short Stay/Surgical - Full Time

We are seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide patient‑centered care in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic health needs such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Support patients’ emotional and spiritual well‑being.
• Record vital signs, blood glucose levels, and other health information.
• Aid with patient transfers and ambulation.
• Perform clerical tasks related to scheduling and documentation.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas, living spaces, and medical equipment.
• Dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification preferred, with ongoing competency and certification requirements.
• For non‑CNA applicants in North Dakota, registration on the Nurse Aide Registry is required within four months of employment.
