Surgical Care Nursing Assistant, Full-Time

About the role

The Nursing Assistant is responsible for performing direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse. The Nursing Assistant functions under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and provides basic patient care such as bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition feeding and hydration, ambulation, and positioning. The role supports patient safety and patient satisfaction by performing regular patient rounds on the nursing unit and effectively communicating with all team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Provide basic patient care including bathing, hygiene, elimination, toileting, nutrition feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning.
• Conduct regular patient rounds on the nursing unit.
• Communicate effectively with all team members to support patient safety and satisfaction.
• Work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Requirements

• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year.
• Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Certified Nursing Assistant – Various.

Schedule

Full‑time, day shift (United States of America).
