Nursing Assistant - Part Time Days - Nelson Care Center

Employment Type: Hourly, non-exempt (eligible for overtime)

Schedule

• Part Time
• 56 hours per pay period
• 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Includes every other weekend and holiday

Pay

Pay Range: $19.50 - $23.65/hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on care, assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility per each resident’s Plan of Care.
• Support daily well-being of residents by offering meals, hydration, companionship, and encouragement for social engagement.
• Monitor and report changes, including vital signs, skin conditions, and any behavioral or physical changes. Ensure timely communication with the nursing team.
• Help residents feel comfortable, respected, and supported in their daily lives by creating a home-like atmosphere.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure residents receive exceptional care and support.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Minnesota.
• Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home health is a plus.
• Ability to provide care with empathy, patience, and integrity.
• Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
• Ability to pass state-mandated background check.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, staff, and visitors.
