Nursing Assistant, Outpatient | Full Time
Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant (NA) assists nursing personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients in the outpatient setting. Performs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Assists with clinical duties as delegated within roles and responsibilities, personalized training and competency, and needs of specific outpatient setting.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of six months’ experience preferred.
- Experience in a clinic setting preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
