Medical Assistant - Outpatient, Full Time

About the Role

Performs non-invasive, routine technical support services under supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients.
• Maintains patient recall system, logs for lab tests, referrals, and transfers.
• Obtains vital signs and reports significant findings to physicians.
• Performs audiometry and vision testing.
• Completes additional job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) healthcare provider certification required.
• Preferred: audiometry, vision training, and phlebotomy certifications.
• Relevant facility-specific medical assistant certifications are required.

Organizational & Compliance Requirements

• Adherence to vaccination policies and participation in E-Verify are mandatory.
