Nursing Assistant | Observation Unit | Day Shift | Full Time

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing the basic physical care and nursing procedures, providing patients with comfort measures and maintaining a clean, safe, organized environment.

A Typical Day

• Maintain safety
• Take vital signs and blood glucose levels
• Supportive collaboration with patients, families, and colleagues
• Activities of daily living to support health recovery

The hospital is open 24/7 and weekends are required. The request is that you are available to work 4 Saturday or Sunday shifts in a 4-week period. This roughly translates to every-other weekend potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Post High School Special Training preferred
• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant License preferred
• BLS
