Responsibilities
Under the direction/supervision of an RN, provides basic nursing care for assigned group of patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Our units care for patients of various ages and conditions, including:
- General Nursing Units: patients from age 15 years to maturity
- Special Care Areas: patients from age 15 years through adult with high-risk conditions
- Maternal Child Units: Labor and Delivery, Nursery care, Pediatric care
- GI Lab Unit: toddlers to adults
- Chemical Dependent Unit and Psychiatric Unit: adult patients and family with holistic approach to emotional problems
- Emergency Unit: patients of all ages
- Surgical Services: patients from neonate to geriatric
Qualifications
The minimum education required is a High School Graduate or equivalent. Preferred education includes satisfactorily completing a Nurse Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or Medical Assisting course.
Preferred experience includes 6 months in the healthcare industry and/or knowledge of basic medical terms and procedures. Required courses/completions include BLS obtained through an approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer to position.

Pay
Up to $5,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience.
