Nursing Assistant (NA) - PRN / Per Diem Night Shift

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Nursing Assistants (NA) are integral in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers, assisting transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student).

Pay

$20.00 per hour; shift differentials for nights and weekends.

PRN / Per Diem Night Shift, 12-Hour Shifts.
