Nursing Assistant (NA) - Per Diem

Select Specialty Hospital - Cincinnati North is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Extensive orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into our setting.
• Opportunity for advancement through demonstrating skills and dedication.
• Part time/Per Diem positions eligible for 401k after reaching 1,000 hours within the first anniversary or subsequent calendar year.
• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers, assisting transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant).
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Pay

$22.44 per hour.

Schedule

PRN/Per Diem/As Needed, 12 Hour Shifts - Night Shift 7:00pm-7:00am.
