About the Role
Select Specialty Hospital - Nashville is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. As a critical illness recovery hospital, we help patients during some of the most vulnerable, painful moments of their lives—and our Nursing Assistants (NA) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care every step of the way.
Start with a strong foundation through our extensive orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into our setting. This PRN/Per Diem, nights (7 pm-7 am) position offers the opportunity for advancement, with potential full-time opportunities for those who demonstrate skills and dedication.
Responsibilities
- Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and care of hair.
- Participate in hourly rounds.
- Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
- Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
- Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition.
- Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
- Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant).
- BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Pay
$24 per hour with a $1,500 sign-on bonus.
Schedule
PRN/Per Diem, nights (7 pm-7 am).
