Nursing Assistant (NA) - FT Nights

About the Role

Select Specialty Hospital Ft. Worth (Plano) is a critical illness recovery hospital providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients requiring extended healing and recovery. Nursing Assistants (NA) play a central role in delivering compassionate, excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care services including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers, assisting with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant
• Certification as a nursing assistant
• Experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)

Pay

$18.00-24.24 per hour (based on years of experience)
