Nursing Assistant (NA) - Clinical Evaluation Unit - Full Time Nights

Responsible Care

Provides direct care to patients and serves the needs of patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Head Nurse, and/or Department Director (possibly with guidance from an LPN).

• Providing personal hygiene care
• Assisting with nutritional needs
• Providing comfort care and other assistance
• Appropriately and safely transferring patients
• Taking vital signs and completing recordkeeping
• Negotiating and promptly reporting changes in patient condition to the RN
• Maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process

Education Qualifications

• This position requires the ability to work the following schedule: 36 hours per week, Monday-Thursday Nights 11pm-7am and 7pm-7am, Permanent Night Shift.
• Hiring Incentive Eligible Position: Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to $1500.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• If not certified as a Nursing Assistant, must be registered as a Nurse Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health within 3 months from date of employment.

• Compensation Range: $17.63 - $26.45 / hour
