Nursing Assistant (NA) - Full-time - Nights

About the Role

Select Specialty Hospital in Youngstown, OH (Boardman) is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to join our team. We are a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients. Our Nursing Assistants play a vital role in delivering compassionate, excellent care to patients during their most vulnerable moments.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care services, including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers, and assist with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (e.g., bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs)
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule

Full Time, Nights, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

Pay

$18.21 - $24.50 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant
• Certification as a nursing assistant
• Experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
