Nursing Assistant - Med/Surgical 9T; 0.6 FTE; Night Shift

Join our 35‑bed Med/Surgical unit, a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary team providing high‑quality, compassionate care to complex surgical and medical patients, including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, ENT, plastics, and general medical cases.

Responsibilities

• Practice and perform basic nursing assistant procedures taught during training and certification.
• Maintain medical asepsis, respect patient dignity and privacy, and uphold objectivity during patient care.
• Adhere to basic hospital safety policies and procedures and work within the scope of training.
• Work under close supervision of the Registered Nurse, receiving written and oral work assignments and completing them within the scheduled shift.

Qualifications

• State of Wisconsin certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Current CPR certification or eligibility for certification.
• Availability for the first week of employment (8 AM – 4:30 PM) for CNA orientation.

Pay

Compensation starts at $21.04 per hour.

Schedule

• Full‑time equivalent (FTE) 0.6, approximately 24 hours per week.
• Night shifts with 8‑hour and 12‑hour options.
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
