Nursing Assistant, Med-Surg/ Neurology
Position Overview
Performs routine patient care, support and services in accordance with the legal scope of practice and within established standards of care, policies, and procedures. Integrates education, technical competence and patient interaction skills to gain confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers. Exercises sound judgment and developed clinical skills to support the patient's plan of care based on the diagnosis in a timely manner. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety to help deliver optimal patient care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification (preferred)
Schedule
- Shift: Nights
- Type: Part Time (32 hours per week)
- Shift Hours: 8
- Days of the Week: Variable
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

Pay
Pay Range is $34.25 to $47.94 per hour. The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
