Nursing Assistant - Full-time

About the role

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital at Cleveland Clinic Fairhill is part of a joint venture/partnership/affiliation with Select Medical. We provide exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data
• Absorb and document oral intake for patients who cannot feed themselves
• Deliver meals and snacks to patients
• Assist patients with personal and daily care, including bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care
• Transport patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers
• Participate in a mobility program

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

• Experience as a nursing assistant
• Certification as a nursing assistant
• Experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to perform manual labor
• Knowledge of patient care procedures

Pay

$18.00 - $21.94 per hour + shift diffs for nights and weekends

Schedule

Full-Time Days & Nights, 12-hour shifts, 7 AM-7 PM; 7 PM-7 AM
