About the role
Come and join our Resource Team! This position is great for Nursing students looking for variety in their day. The Resource Team is a float position that allows you to see and experience multiple units and hospitals.
Shifts: 7:00am-7:30pm. Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Assist with basic health care needs including daily living activities: bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, meal preparation, and dining needs.
- Address emotional and spiritual needs of patients.
- Administer delegated tasks and treatments.
- Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
- Collect non-invasive biological specimens from patients as needed.
- Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare.
- Prepare patient treatment areas for use; prepare and clean medical equipment; dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy.
- Clean patient living areas or treatment rooms.
- Provide one-on-one care to patients when necessary for safe provision of care.
Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
- If working in North Dakota (ND) or Minnesota (MN) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the NA Registry as a Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Dept. of Health or through the Minnesota Dept. of Health within four months from the date of hire.
- If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aid Registry with current work eligibility.

Pay
Salary Range: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
