Nursing Assistant - Float Pool

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Supporting meal services to ensure proper nutrition
• Monitoring and recording vital signs with prompt reporting of changes
• Responding to patient needs with empathy and professionalism
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver quality care

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Nurse's Aide program
• Previous healthcare experience
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting
• Ability to adhere to infection control policies while using PPE

Work Environment

Performed in patient care areas and offices, requiring proximity to staff and patients, with exposure to cleaning solutions and frequent interruptions.

Patient Care

Serves all age groups and handles sensitive patient information with appropriate access levels per HIPAA guidelines.
