About the role
The Nursing Assistant in our Float Pool at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA works 12-hour shifts on Nights or Days. Available shifts will be discussed if a candidate is interviewed.
Responsibilities
- personal hygiene
- data collection and observation
- vital signs
- I&O
- use of equipment
- ADL's
- documenting on the medical record
- answering call lights
- recognizing and responding to emergency situations
Requirements
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
Qualifications
- Within 30 days of hire: Nursing Assistant certification
- Acute care or specialty experience preferred
Skills
Intellectual, interpersonal and technical skills to perform basic patient care.
