Nursing Assistant - ER - PRN

About the role

The employee will provide patient care and a variety of procedures in the Emergency Room setting, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and mobility
• Administer medications as ordered
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to supervising nurse
• Prepare rooms for patient admission
• Provide emotional support to patients and families

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a training program
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• First aid/CPR certification

Pay

$15 - $17 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Shifts are typically 4 hours long, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of weekend work.
