Nursing Assistant (CNA/NAR)

Job Overview

Ebenezer is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Ebenezer Skilled Nursing Facility (TCU) in Edina, MN. Aurora on France is a new, innovative senior community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. This patient support schedule includes evenings (2PM-10PM), every other weekend, and holiday rotations.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents based on their individual care plan with personal cares such as bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers, and responds to call lights.
• Nursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitals AM/PM, including peri care and catheter care.
• Turns, lifts, or transfers residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise manner.
• Chart or documents in electronic medical record system.
• Solves resident and family concerns.
• Receives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shift.
• Performs other duties such as order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Active on MN Nursing Assistant registry by start date.
• If hired into the Ebenezer Nursing Assistant Training program, granted a 4-month grace period from hire date to be active on the MN Nursing Assistant registry.

Preferred

• Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population.
• Communicate efficiently, with empathy and understanding for residents and coworkers.
• Experience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant.
• Work experience in a customer service setting.

Pay

An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
