Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) - Per Diem Nights
About the role
Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Nursing Assistants play a central role in delivering compassionate, excellent care during patients’ most vulnerable moments.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care services including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care
- Participate in hourly rounds
- Transport patients to and from treatment centers; assist with transfers in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
- Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs
- Keep patient rooms clean and orderly
- Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
- Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant)
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
Schedule
PRN/Per Diem, 12-hour night shifts
Pay
$19.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends
