Responsible Care
Provides direct care to skilled nursing facility residents, including personal hygiene, nutritional assistance, and recognizing and addressing the needs and concerns of residents.
Qualifications
- Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtain within 4 months of hire/transfer date.
- Maintains awareness of safety issues and takes corrective action.
- Identifies and reports changes in resident condition to shift nurse.
- Maintains a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for residents.
- Awareness of and prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults.
